My PhD journey

A PhD is mostly quiet work, and these photos are the parts of it that were not. I began as a student in the classroom and now stand at the front of it as a teaching assistant. Seminars and workshops taught me to listen to a paper before questioning it, and conferences gave me the confidence to present my own. Along the way I met economists whose work I had only read, and made friends who made the long stretches lighter. Around all of it are the campus, the late nights and the early mornings when everything is still.
